I especially like ...Oh I really loved this article. I especially like your examples from literature :). Also like the idea of not "fabricating" God's presence. That is so very dangerous. My daughter is struggling with everyone at school saying "God is calling me to..." "God wants me to".....in deciding their vocations and I'm encouraging her that almost all of the time God does not make that clear with a bolt from heaven. It's a matter of discerning right from wrong, open door from closed door, and personal interest, all with a heart attitude of service to God and others. But how sad if someone felt pressured into "fabricating" a statement like that. (got off on tangent here....).
